International Working Party Report On The Vegetative State - 1996
The need for a Working Party on the Management of the Vegetative State was identified at the International Association of Studies in Traumatic Brain Injury conference in Tokyo, Japan in 1993 when several specialists in rehabilitation expressed concern that there were no formal guidelines for the treatment of patients in the Vegetative State.
