C/TBIRA Brochure Cover

If you haven't yet seen it, we've posted the new C/TBIRA brochure here for you to read and distribute

The PDF is a two sided Tri-fold Brochure, so it may print a little different then you are used to.  We will try to generate a new, page-by-page version, and will post it here as soon as it becomes available.

Again, thank you for supporting us, as we support others.

Good News... Senator Golden's Bill S2185 has been reinstated and remains open for discussion for two(2) more years. The bill has been renamed S2203-2011.

Bill - S2203-2011, if passed,

"Requires hospitals to include in discharge planning for brain insult patients, an evaluation for treatment in a state certified hospital operated acute rehabilitation unit for traumatic brain injury."

The Coma/Traumatic Brain Injury Recovery Association fully supports this bill and asks its supporters, family and friends to do what they can to support the passing of this bill.

More information can be found at:

http://open.nysenate.gov/legislation/bill/S2203-2011

The C/TBIRA will keep you updated on this bill and will post actions we can all perform to help get this bill passed.  Thank you all for your support.
