   Our Join (Membership) page is securely hosted on xmikeysweb.merchantquest.net, which is our webmaster's site. Information gathered from the secure membership page (https - 128 bit) is encrypted with PGP 2,048 bit RSA encryption, and then delivered immediately by email to comarecovery.org's local email content security system. No personal information is maintained on the secure site at xmikeysweb.merchantquest.net or at comarecovery.org. xmikeysweb.merchantquest.net adheres to comarecovery.org's privacy policy. The membership processing and encryption phase is completely done in memory, and is not swapped to a disk file. Personal information is not stored permanently, in databases or other types of files, on comarecovery.org.
   
   
5. Our webmaster receives real-time "post" notifications. Hack or crack attempts, and/or posting of messages which are ill-natured, offensive, deragatory, slanderous or abusive are not permitted. The preceeding actions will not be tolerated. ENFORCEMENT: Offenders may be permanently blocked from the site, and depending upon severity of the "event" and/or "prior events", an abuse complaint (along with specific data from log files) may be supplied to the malicious visitor's upstream provider and/or law enforcement agencies.

   Internal Security: The CRA Membership database computer is offline. Our office's connection and computers are protected by a firewall device and desktop security applications. Coma Recovery Association, Inc.'s email content security system is protected by a stateful firewall device and a proxy server with application level firewalls. All transmissions are logged. Emails containing attachments are automatically deleted or placed into an "email holding pen". We use an email content security program, along with anti malware programs, for email security (the content monitor removes & logs all malicious content: Viruses, Trojans, Worms; HTML; Executables; Scripts; Graphic Images; etc..) comarecovery.org is owned and maintained by Coma Recovery Association, Inc.

comarecovery.org's webmaster maintains and analyses log files for security purposes and for monitoring web page popularity. Barring a search warrant, the log files are confidential and they will not be disclosed to anyone besides our webmaster. Web server log files are destroyed at the end of the month from the web server. Log files are archived by our webmaster on an offsite system (with ICSA certified firewall, proxies and realtime Anti-Virus & Anti-Trojan monitoring defense systems).
